God cares deeply for every one of us, and He knows every one of His children in detail even before we were born (Jeremiah 1: 5). So He made you and attached a purpose to your life. So, what are the signs that God is protecting you, how do you recognize the signs God is protecting you from danger?

What Are The Signs That God Is Protecting You?

In case you want to know what are the signs that God is protecting you? The signs God is protecting you are those things that occur in your life and put a stop to challenging times or that bring you out of dangerous times, and most times, it happens when all hope is lost.

Imagine when you find yourself in a dangerous situation, and all hope is lost, then suddenly you mysteriously get rescued from it, and you really can’t give a logical explanation as to how it all happened.

Sometimes these signs can even be when things in your life workout smoothly. God opens doors to help you go through some dangerous times in life so quickly before the dangers become intense and cause severe harm.

God can cause help to come from nowhere or from an unexpected source, just like Ravens bringing food to Elijah (1Kings 17: 2 – 16), maybe to sustain and to keep you for the time being. Let’s take it further and look into 10 Signs God is protecting you and give an elaborate explanation to it.

10 Signs God Is Protecting You

1.  When God Reveals An Evil Plot Against You

This is one of the signs that God is protecting you by revealing the evil plan of the enemy against your life to you. These could come through dreams, a trance, or a word of prophecy to warn you of the devils’ evil plots against you and to give you an escape route.

A good example of this in the Bible is what happened during the time Christ was born. Herod heard that a King had been born, and then he passed an order that every male child below two years was to be killed.

But before this happened, the Bible says an Angel of the Lord came to inform Joseph and Mary, and they left with Baby Jesus to Egypt.

God still does that today to us when He sees the plot of the enemy against our lives. He gives us revelations through any means that will help us escape from the snare of the enemy, and this is one of the signs God is protecting you.

The Bible says in Jeremiah 11: 18 (NIV), “because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing.” This is a norm for God to always reveal to His own the evil plot of the enemy against their lives.

2.  When The Solution To A Challenge Is Revealed To You

There are certain difficulties and life-threatening situations you find yourself with no clue on how to go about it. Then suddenly, God reveals the solution to the challenge to you, ideas start flowing, and everything goes smoothly.

These ideas don’t come naturally to everyone. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be life-threatening. The ideas were specially revealed to you because God’s hands are upon you, and it is one of the signs God is protecting you. He gives you divine wisdom to help you out of life-threatening situations.

Like in Daniel 2: 1 – 13, when King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and required wise men to tell his plan, he would kill all of them. The Bible says in Daniel 2: 16 – 19 that Daniel and his friends prayed and sought God’s mercies, and God revealed the answer to Him.

This is God revealing divine wisdom to Daniel to bring the solution to a challenge that threatened their lives, and God still does this today to you and me in challenging times to help us through.

3.  When God Keeps You Far Away From An Intended Danger

There are specific incidents that will repeat themselves in your life, and you will know that God is protecting you. Like when God keeps you far away from being a victim of an intended danger, the incidents will usually take place in your absence.

There will be instances when you arrive at a place then you hear stories of dangerous events that took place there. Other times immediately after you leave, you hear stories of what happened.

When things like this happen to you, it is not just a coincidence, nor does it mean you are fortunate; it is simply one of the signs God is protecting you.

The Bible says in Psalm 91: 10 – 11 (NIV), “then no harm will befall you no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

4.  When You Are Being Sustained In Difficult Times

In the Bible (1Kings 17: 2 – 16), Elijah was sustained by the Ravens when Israel was facing great drought and famine. And Ravens are known to be selfish even to their own chicks. But God mysteriously used them to bring meals to Elijah on a daily basis.

A particular pastor once shared a story of God sustaining him as a missionary n a strange land. According to the pastor, someone or some people he never got to see or meet in person will always come to drop a meal on his door post twice daily for him.

He said it continued for a whole year while he was doing his missionary work in that village, and he never got to meet the person dropping the meal for him. But in a whole year, God fed him through that means.

God knows how to protect and sustain His own by different means and devices beyond our imagination. As big and as fierce as the sea may look, it is grains of sand that God used to put a boundary between them and the lands.

5.  When You Get Rescued From Dangerous Situations

Sometimes you may find yourself in certain situations, and you will be in confusion. Your mind is in complete chaos as you already know that there is no human device or skill you possess that can help you out.

But you get rescued in a way that you cannot explain. This is God coming through for you because He has promised to never leave you or forsake you.

I’ve been rescued from several situations, and up to date, I can’t really explain how it happened or put my finger on a particular thing. But deep down in me, I know it is God protecting me.

6.  When What Seemed Evil Turn To Be Good For You

God is at work every day in your life, even when you don’t know it or when you don’t pay close attention to it. He works to protect you from evil and turns what seems evil and dangerous to be good for you.

Take the story of Joseph in the Bible (Genesis 37: 2 – 50: 26). He was sold into slavery by his brothers, but because God’s hands were on Joseph, what they meant to be evil for him turned out to be good. The Bible says God was with Joseph, and he was prosperous (Genesis 39: 2) even when he was sold to slavery.

The Joseph story plays out in our lives every day as Christians. When evil plots turn out to become suitable for you, God’s hand and protection are on you.

Remember, the Bible says, “…in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8: 28).”

7.  When God Sends Someone To Warn You Or To Give You Divine Counsel

God uses many means to protect you, sometimes depending on the danger or challenge ahead. God can choose to use people around you, either your friends, family, loved ones, or even a stranger passing by.

They bring warnings to you to desist from going on a particular path, or they bring you divine counsel for proper direction to help you fulfill God’s plan and will for your life.

So when God sends someone to warn you or to give you divine counsel, this is one of the signs God is protecting you because God wants you to succeed and be fulfilled.

8.  When What Seems Impossible To Achieve Goes Smoothly For You

Sometimes God protects us by making lines to fall in pleasant places for us so that we can achieve the impossible even in the face of significant doubt.

Like there are specific things in life that seem impossible to achieve, like a goal many people have written off because they see how dangerous it is to achieve it.

Like there might be diverse challenges that come before and after achieving the goal. And then, you might find yourself in a place where it becomes compulsory for you to achieve that particular goal.

But God makes everything go smoothly for you beyond your expectations, and what seems to be a challenge becomes a stepping stone that helps you to achieve that goal.

God protects you and makes lines fall in pleasant places for you to easily achieve something that you need to, so this is also one of the signs God is protecting you.

9.  When A Stranger Comes To Help You

God sometimes sends strangers to come and rescue us in trying times. Unfortunately, there are times in life we find ourselves in challenging circumstance that holds us back so and it seems as though we have no hope of moving forward in life.

Suddenly a stranger that you know nothing about comes from nowhere and takes your challenges personally. He strives hard to make sure he rescues you without asking for anything from you, and then he goes away.

When strangers often come to your rescue, have it at heart that God is with you and He is protecting and rescuing you from dangers.

10.  When Favor Keeps Coming From An Unlikely Source

God favors us in many ways, which can come in various forms and from any source. But when favor comes from an unlikely source or someone you least expected, it is part of the signs God is protecting you.

When someone who has been looking for your downfall suddenly changes and begins to work genuinely for your interest. God is using the person to meet a pressing need in your life.

The Bible says He will cause your enemies to be at peace with you (Proverbs 16: 7). Only God can do this, and only God can bring favor from different sources to us.

Conclusion

God protects us from so many diverse things, and He does that in many ways. He is not stereotyped, He is all-powerful and all-knowing, and His ways are mysterious.

So in His foreknowledge, when God sees that what you need is sustenance, He sends it, like Ravens bringing meat for Elijah (1Kings 17: 2 – 16).

When what you need is a rescue, He sends it or sometimes device a means that you get rescued. God’s hand is upon every believer, and He promised to send His Angel to take charge of you.

Save this for later!
