All through the Bible are promises of God for you and me. God’s promises and not mere words like that of men. His promises are covenants. Whatever he says must surely come to pass.
He made heaven and earth with his word; in his word is the power to fulfill itself. So, power is released whenever God speaks, and it must be fulfilled.
God promises us many things in the Bible. Some of them include Protection, Joy, Peace, Eternal life, the Holy Spirit, Success, freedom, and many more.
Isaiah 55:11 NIV says, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Jesus Christ performed many miraculous works here on earth, he healed the sick and raised the dead, but God promises we will be able to do even more.

Conclusion
2 Peter 3:9 KJV says The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God’s promises shall come to fulfillment no matter how long it tarries. Stand on the promise of God, and it shall come to pass.
